[un]common sounds is an investigation and documentation project on contemporary experimental sound creation.

It is both theoretical and practical project that pretends to present and diffuse an artistic production, wich nowadays has expanded throughout the world by means of independent centres of artistic creation.

(Un) Common Sounds aims at drawing the attention to his community of creators, focusing in the relation that they maintain with their environment. It's about creating situations through wich one can share and exchange experiences and ideas and about offering a broad vision of the actual sonic panorama and the different realities that are part of it.

All the information that is being generated through this project will be documented and compiled in different formats: printed publications, CDs, DVDs, and through this website, interested parties will be able to consult updated information about each phase of the project and learn about new activities, new collaborators and participate in an active way in it's elaboration.
