Radiovisionen
is a C-base & Tesla (Berlin) project in which various artists,
futurologists, scientists, thinkers… try and imagine possible radio
futures from here to the next 150 years! Radiovisionen is a science
fiction project and its prologue introduces scenarii for the
development of mankind through the evolution of Radio. Apo33 has been
invited to present its vision in a conference and a workshop: across
magnetic waves, digital automaton and free software!

/ECOS RESIDENCES: from 25 March to 20 April - REZÉ/

Ecos welcomes for a month, in Maison Radieuse, Amy Plant and Esther
Salmona to initiate two local projects related to the urban question
and consumerism. These two projects involve the use of the building’s
main Hall and the creation of a new webradio in partnership with the
residents’ multimedia club.

/APO33 @ DEAF FESTIVAL : from 10 to 29 April - ROTTERDAM/

APO33 & ELPUEBLODELCHINA at the DEAF (Dutch Electronic Art Festival),
propose a workshop/performance/seminar on the subject of « control vs influence ».
Apo33 introduce a « hacking » of HMI (Human Machine Interface)
controllers through joystick and USB keyboard and expose the
influence of networking on our digital production/action/activities.
Simultaneously, and within the technical workshop, we raise the
question of how practice confronts theory and discuss the resulting
inferences of this collision on practice.

OPEN RECORDINGS

A few months ago, Fibrr Records (http://fibrr.apo33.org)
initiated a project involving open recordings of (normally)
inaudible (to us) sounds (underwater, bats, insects, very low
frequencies, stratospheric activities, electromagnetic fields,
etc…) and, following the same logic as in the case of free
software, these recording are rights free (licence GNUart: http://gnuart.org)
and do not belong to their recorder! We believe that no recording of
animals or of natural phenomena should become the property of
anybody; it is part of a knowledge that should always be shared, public and free!

Radiovisionen est un projet C-base & Tesla (Berlin) qui propose à des
artistes, futurologues, scientifiques, penseurs… d’imaginer les futurs
possibles de la radio d’ici 150 ans! Radiovisionen est un projet de
science-fiction, où le prologue initie le début d’un scénario de
développement de l’humanité à travers l’évolution de la radio.
APO33 est invité à présenter sa vision par une conférence et un workshop
: entre ondes magnétiques, automate digital et logiciels libres!

Ecos reçoit Amy Plant et Esther Salmona pendant 1 mois à la Maison
Radieuse pour élaborer des projets in-situ autour des questions lié à
l’urbanisme et les circuits de consommation. Ces deux projets se
concrétiseront par l’occupation du hall de l’immeuble et la création
d’une webradio en collaboration avec le club multimédia des habitants.

ainsi que l’influence du réseau sur notre production/action/activité
numérique. Dans le même temps, nous poserons le débat au sein même du
workshop technique, comment la pratique & la théorie se croisent dans un
même temps pour interroger les enjeux même de cette pratique?

OPEN RECORDINGS

Depuis quelques mois Fibrr Records ( http://fibrr.apo33.org ) a lancé un
projet d’enregistrements libres (open recordings) de phénoménes
inaudibles à l’oreille humaine (sons sous-marins, sonar de
chauve-souris, communication des insectes, vlf & activités de la
stratosphére, champs électromagnétiques…etc). Dans la même optique que
les logiciels libres, ces enregistrements sont complétement libres de
droit (licence GNUart : http://gnuart.org ) et n’appartiennent à aucun
auteur! Nous considérons que tout enregistrement de phénoménes naturels
ou d’animaux/insectes ou de phénoménes physiques inaudibles ne peut
appartenir à un individu spécifique, ils font partis d’une connaissance
universelle libre et partageable!
